I don't think the embassy would fr...Great news! I don't think the embassy would frown on being contacted at all. What you said is why I didn't contact the embassy last March when everyone was getting through but me. In fact, some people suggested I contact the embassy when I arrived, but again I heard stories they might put it at the bottom of the stack. I was there a month that trip waiting to come back. Hindsight, I would have contacted the embassy before I even went. I do know now people with our agency routinely contact the embassy and quickly get information on their cases.
